10. Arnold Palmer
Known as the King of Golf, Arnold Palmer was known for his congenial demeanor and kindness to fans. In 2004, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and spent most of the day meeting with fans on the White House Lawn, talking and signing autographs. Palmer achieved great success in the business world’s haring his wealth through acts of philanthropy. His death occurred in September of 2016, when he succumbed to heart problems at the age of 87, but his legendary drink of choice, iced tea and lemonade, keeps his memory alive.
